During the Route 66 Balloon Festival, event grounds will be packed with live music, vendors, activities for all ages, and 15 hot air balloons that will attract more than 40,000 people from central Oklahoma and beyond, among many other attractions.

Visionary Balloonworx Flights
We have the honor of being the hot air balloon flight sponsor for the Route 66 Balloon Festival.
We have six large balloons providing morning, afternoon and evening rides. Experience the magic of Route 66 on your bucket list balloon ride.
What You Need to Know:
- We have six large balloons providing rides
- You can reserve any opening
- Each passenger will need their own individual reservation
- Kids above 42" in height can fly
- Rides are offered on Sept 20-22 in the morning, afternoon and evening
- All passengers upon booking will be mailed an exclusive gift ride package with endorsed boarding passes and check lists prior to event
- All rides must be booked in advance
- Flights last 60-90 minutes and are weather permitting
- Tethered and untethered flights available
- In the event of a cancelation full refunds will be issued
Types of Flights
As the ride concierge for the Route 66 Balloon Festival, we offer both untethered and tethered balloon rides.
Here’s what you can expect from the experience…
Untethered Balloon Flights
We are SOLD OUT of our untethered flights at the Route 66 Balloon Festival.
However, if you’d like to book a true hot air balloon flight, we offer private and group flights year-round. Call us for details and to make a reservation at 405-496-4626.
Tethered Balloon Flights
Tethered balloon rides give you the hot air balloon experience while still being tied to the ground. These rides last 3-5 minutes and flow as high as tree top level, or 25-50 ft. It’s perfect whether you’re a first timer, have kids, or want a unique experience during the festival.
These flights are available Friday-Sunday with no age or height restrictions, and no advance reservation required. You can sign up for these rides once you arrive at the festival, located in different parts of the event. Kids are $15 while adults are $20, and we are operating under first come, first served. We expect sunrise rides to be less busy than the sunset rides!
